Heritage Restoration
Sympathetic uPVC replacement for a heritage building — Georgian bars and classic proportions, modern performance underneath.

Project overview
About this project
Restoring a heritage building means respecting its character. This Saddar property had beautiful old timber windows that were beyond repair — rotten, draughty and rattling in their frames.
Skizo crafted uPVC replacements that honour the original design: classic proportions, Georgian bars dividing the glass, and a crisp white finish. From the street, they read as traditional timber windows. Inside, they seal properly, open smoothly and keep the monsoon rain out.
Each window was made to measure for openings that had shifted over decades — no two were exactly the same size.
